The owners
Thomas "Rocky" Scott
Rocky started Rock Solid in 2007 with his son Travis after a long career at Cox Construction. Between him and Travis — both heavily bearded, neither shaven in decades — they're known around the company as the Beards of Knowledge. The name is earned, not given. There's almost no problem hospital renovation can throw at a contractor that one of them hasn't already seen and solved. Rocky still walks every job he can get to. Travis Scott
Travis holds the GC license and has spent most of his career embedded at St. Anthony's Hospital — a partnership built one job at a time. The depth of healthcare construction knowledge he carries matches Rocky's; between the two of them, there's an answer for almost any question that comes up on a hospital site.
Senior advisor
Mac Boyd
Mac was Rocky's superior at Cox Construction before Cox closed. Rocky's first hire at Rock Solid was Mac, and he still works select projects each week. Mac has more healthcare construction history than most companies have years of existence.
Office
Roxanne Pacheco
Roxanne is Rocky's daughter, Travis's sister, and the reason the books balance, the pay apps go out on time, and the paperwork that has to be right is right. Behind every running construction company is somebody making sure the back office doesn't trip the front office. That's Roxanne.
Project management & field leadership
Kenny Starbird
Kenny joined Rock Solid in April 2016 with no remodeling background — just a hard work ethic and a willingness to learn. Within two years he was running Blake Medical's in-house construction program in Bradenton. He now manages projects across BayCare and HCA, runs OAC meetings, and handles bidding. He's the PM most coordinators reach when they call Rock Solid.
Forrest Paxton
Forrest has run Blake Medical's in-house construction program for Rock Solid since 2018, picking it up when Kenny moved on to lead larger projects. He brought years of construction supervision experience with him from prior companies, and the discipline shows in how Blake's day-to-day work has run under his watch.
Sean Hardenbrook
Sean has been Rock Solid's lead supervisor for six years. He's currently running multiple active projects at Winter Haven Hospital. Sean is the reason work that happens on a Rock Solid site looks like it does — the standard he holds his crews to is the standard our owners trust him to deliver.
Justin Starbird
Justin has been at Rock Solid for two years, supervising work orders at St. Anthony's. He picked up the work fast, fit in fast, and is the on-site face of Rock Solid for the St. Anthony's facilities team day in and day out.
Jason Hall
Jason has been with Rock Solid since 2019 and serves as the company's main project supervisor in the field — running the active projects that don't sit in our embedded relationships at St. Anthony's, Blake Medical, or Winter Haven. He's the steady hand on the ground when a job needs a supervisor who can step in and get the work moving.
